Choice CheckingSM*An interest earning checking account where you can earn a higher interest when monthly requirements are met.
* Higher interest rate and Annual Percentage Yield (APY) will be paid on balances up to $25,000 and Central Pacific Bank will reimburse you up to $3 per transaction for any ATM surcharge incurred on your Choice Checking account nationwide, up to $20 per month, if your account meets the required transactions during the calendar month: at least 15 Central Pacific Bank VisaŽ CheckCard purchases, one automatic payment, one direct deposit, and enrollment and login to Central Pacific Bank's Online Banking. Balances over $25,000 and accounts that do not meet the required transactions during the calendar month will earn a lower rate. Rates are variable and subject to change at any time after the account is opened. Minimum deposit of $50 required to open a Choice Checking account; thereafter no minimum balance required and no monthly service fee. To qualify, you must provide and maintain a valid e-mail address. Check Safekeeping service is required and will be automatically converted to e-statements (online statements) when available. Gold CheckingOur value-added checking account for only $6 a month.

Check Guard overdraft privilegeCheck Guard is a service that may help you avoid returned item fees (normally assessed by merchants) by making courtesy payments to cover insufficient funds up to $500 on checks, ACH items, ATM, and debit card transactions. Whether insufficient fund items will be paid is discretionary and we reserve the right not to pay. For example, we typically do not pay overdrafts if an account is not in good standing, if the customer is not making regular deposits, or if they have too many overdrafts.
