Central Pacific Bank (CPB) plans to install four (4) Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) at Queen Ka‘ahumanu Center on Maui and three (3) ATMs at Prince Kuhio Plaza on the Big Island in July and August. These additions will complete the bank’s new 27 ATM network at four Hawaii shopping centers, including Ala Moana Center and Ward Centers on Oahu.
The new Diebold Opteva ATMs will be part of the more than 120 ATMs in the CPB network statewide that will be the first in Hawaii to offer a customer preference feature, effective July 1. This feature enables CPB customers to preset their choice of language, cash withdrawal amount and receipt option, which will save several steps in each ATM transaction. The ATMs will also feature state-of-the-art graphics capabilities to enhance user experience.
The new ATMs will be placed throughout Queen Ka‘ahumanu Center and the Prince Kuhio Plaza. Central Pacific Bank is also installing eight new ATMs at Ward Centers and recently finished installing 12 new ATMs at Ala Moana Center.
“We continue to look for venues where we can expand our ATM network for our customers’ convenience,” said Wayne Kirihara, Chief Marketing Officer of Central Pacific Bank. “In addition, our personalized customer preference feature makes it even faster and easier to get cash when you’re on the go.”
