Corlis Nihei has been hired as Vice President and Region Service Support Officer for Central Pacific Bank. She is responsible for administering CPB’s Community Banking operational and service standards and providing training, development and direction to the West Oahu and Neighbor Island region branches.
“With more than 30 years in the financial services industry and with a well-rounded perspective of retail operations, Corlis brings a strong background and deep experience to our Community Banking department,” said David Hudson, Senior Vice President and Division Manager - Community Banking for Central Pacific Bank. “She is a seasoned leader who will help us to continue to develop successful and productive managers in all of our branches.”
Prior to joining the bank, Nihei was a Vice President and Retail Support Officer for American Saving Bank, where she was responsible for the service delivery and operational effectiveness of its Metro and Kauai regions. She also served as an Executive Vice President for a local federal credit union, where she was responsible for the credit union’s strategic plan and for directing the activities of the managers who oversaw all areas of the operation.
Nihei received her bachelor‘s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix and is a graduate of Western Credit Union National Association’s Management School. She resides in Pearl City.
