The Kaneohe Outdoor Circle (KOC) has recognized Central Pacific Bank’s (CPB) Kaneohe Branch with a Spring Beautification Award for the bank’s efforts in constructing and maintaining a building that complements the Windward Oahu community. The Kaneohe Branch, located at 46-077 Kamehameha Highway, is one of CPB’s newest branches that opened in August 2009.
“The Outdoor Circle’s Beautification Awards are another way our organization works to promote keeping Hawaii clean, green and beautiful,” said Mary Yannell, President of the Kaneohe Outdoor Circle. “The KOC board and beautification committee wanted to acknowledge CPB for making that corner of Kaneohe more beautiful by building a branch that matches our community. The branch’s landscaping also enhances the architecture of the building.”
KOC – a branch of The Outdoor Circle – was established in 1948 and annually nominates and presents Beautification Awards in the categories of Residential, Corporate Government, Commercial and Tree Settings to encourage others to invest their time and resources to enhance the visual splendor of the Islands. Award recipients are selected by landscape experts and Outdoor Circle representatives.
Previously, CPB had two smaller Kaneohe Branches in the neighborhood. When their leases expired, the branches were consolidated at the current location.
“We built a new Kaneohe Branch because it allowed us to deliver greater banking value and services in a larger and more conveniently located facility for Windward Oahu residents,” said Denis Isono, Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of Central Pacific Bank. “Our customers have said they appreciated the physical upgrade and we’re delighted that the community agrees as well.”
The 3,708-square-foot Kaneohe Branch provides retail, commercial, mortgage and wealth management services.
