HONOLULU, HI July 26, 2011 Central Pacific Bank (CPB) has appointed Lee Moriwaki as a Senior Vice President and head of Business/Operations Information Management. In his new position, Moriwaki is responsible for the corporate data warehouse and providing comprehensive management information and decision support systems. Moriwaki has 30 years of experience in the banking industry. He has a diverse background in retail banking, retail brokerage, finance, investments, operations and information technology.

Prior to joining Central Pacific Bank, Moriwaki was Senior Executive Vice President of Mortgage Banking and a Managing Committee Member at Bank of Hawaii from 2008 to 2011. He also served as an Executive Vice President of various divisions from 2002 to 2008, including President of Bankoh Investment Services.
Moriwaki is Secretary and Director of the American Liver Foundation, Hawaii Chapter; Treasurer and Vice Chair of the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii; EVP Admin and Finance and Trustee of Public Schools of Hawaii Foundation; and Treasurer and Director of The Arc in Hawaii.
Moriwaki has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a MBA in Finance from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He currently resides in Honolulu.
