To provide our mortgage loan customers with the best possible service, we are pleased to announce that Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc. (DMI) is now administering the loan servicing for CPB mortgage loans. DMI is a national leader in quality customer service and technology in mortgage servicing.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW DURING THE TRANSITION

Your Mortgage Loan Number has changed:

  • Your new loan number will appear on your August mortgage statement. You may also obtain your new number by calling the Mortgage Service Center Toll-free at 1-877-330-4049.

Mortgage Online Banking Service:

Enroll in online banking via the new Mortgage Service Center Website to view account balances, make payments, view statements, etc. Please refer to the New Mortgage Service Center Website section below.

Making Mortgage Payments:

  • If you were previously making payments via the transfer feature in CPB’s Online Banking Service, this function will no longer be available. You can now enroll in an online banking service exclusive to CPB mortgages, hosted by DMI.
  • If you are paying via the online bill pay function with CPB or other institutions, please update your payee information including your new loan number and payment address.
  • If you are paying via mailing a check, please send your payment to the new payment address and reference your new loan number.

  • If you are paying at a CPB branch, payments made after 1pm will be posted on the following business day.

Important: If you have automatic payment set up and have updated it as described above, your first payment will be debited from your account between August 12, 2019 – August 15.

FAQs

Q: What is loan servicing?
A: Loan servicing is the administrative portion of a loan. It typically includes sending monthly payment statements and collecting monthly payments, maintaining records of payments and balances, collecting and paying taxes and insurance, remitting funds to the note holder, and following up on delinquencies.

Q: Does Central Pacific Bank still own my mortgage loan?
A: Central Pacific Bank is not selling your loan and will remain the owner of loan. This association with DMI will in no way affect the terms of your mortgage loan and you will continue to honor your loan obligations as you have in the past.

Q: Does my mortgage loan number change?
A: Yes, on August 1, 2019, your mortgage loan number will change to the one listed on the front of the RESPA letter.

Q: Why is Central Pacific Bank partnering with DMI?
A: DMI is a national leader in the mortgage servicing industry. Their primary business is loan servicing and, as such, provide substantial upgrades in the administration of your mortgage loan–more than what Central Pacific Bank can do alone. Mortgage loan customers will have better and more complete access to their mortgage loan information including a dedicated website.

Q: Can I make partial payments?
A: We are unable to accept partial monthly payments.

Q: Can I make a principal payment?
A: Yes, principal payments are accepted once the monthly payment amount is satisfied.

Q: Can I set up auto-payments through the new Mortgage Servicing website?
A: Yes, auto-payments can be set-up online and drafted on the due date or up to 5 days after.
